The Opportunity

 

At the Legal and Company Secretarial function in Allianz plc, we are dedicated to supporting our colleagues by offering legal and corporate governance advice. Based on a solid understanding of the business and strategy, we actively support them in finding solutions that effectively address business needs while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

The role of the Assistant Company Secretary offers an opportunity to join Allianz’s Legal and Company Secretarial team and play an important part in supporting high standards of corporate governance across the company. You will be part of a small team and have responsibility for supporting and managing Board and Sub-Committee meetings and maintaining all statutory company registers in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

 

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, sound judgement, diligence and attention to detail as well as the ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You are expected to have a relevant third level/professional qualification and extensive experience of best practice in corporate governance.
