What You'll Do
The Middle East (ME) Credit Control Junior Specialist sits in the Credit Control Team within Commercial Finance and acts as a business partner to the ME business. This position is for a highly motivated and analytical person with good knowledge of accounts receivable, financial and business reporting. The focus of this role will be primarily in the areas of accounts receivable, invoice tracking and management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Accounts to track and collect payments. Uploading invoices in Etimad and tracking payments.
- Managing client relationships and escalating to management. Prepare for MDP meetings and take actions assigned.
- Provide input to the monthly cash forecast and highlighting any gaps to manage the cash flow.
- Be the single point of contact for Wrike updates and ensure usage amongst the Credit Control Team.
- Allocate payments for accounts under management.
- Respond to any AR related queries including SoAs and other documentations.
- Understand and ensure compliance with internal as well as external deadlines
Please Note- The role is temporary for a 9-month maternity cover.
What You'll Bring
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent through relevant experience
- Relevant practical experience ranging from internships to 2 years of professional experience.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic skills, with the ability to work mainly in English
- Working knowledge of Saudi Tax Laws (VAT) and E-invoicing
- Experience in working in a virtual team
- Experience with Oracle, Business Objects and other Accounting and Analysis Tools
- Relationship management: You’ll work positively and collaboratively with various teams to understand the requests and deliver effectively
- Ability to identify areas for improvement around you
- Result-driven and self- motivated approach
- Ability to undertake working pressure
- Motivation for new knowledge & learning new topics
