Your tasks

AI Enablement & Knowledge Transfer

• Promoting the adoption of AI tools and capabilities across the organization;
• Designing and delivering trainings, workshops, and enablement formats on AI and AI-supported workflows;
• Acting as a consultant for teams to identify and implement AI use cases;
• Translating complex AI concepts into practical, business-relevant applications;

Development of AI Agents

• Designing, building, and optimizing agents based on modern GenAI technologies;
• Developing and managing reusable agent skills and prompt structures;
• Continuously improving agent performance, quality, and cost efficiency;

Integration & Tooling

• Integrating existing enterprise tools into AI solutions (e.g. via APIs, connectors, or custom agent skills);
• Enabling seamless interaction between AI agents and internal systems;
• Designing and implementing tool integrations such as API-based data access, workflow automation, and tool orchestration within agent frameworks;

Secondary Task: AI Transformation & KPI Management

• Defining, establishing, and continuously refining KPIs to measure the success of AI adoption and transformation initiatives;
• Ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes towards stakeholders and leadership;

Secondary Task: Collaboration & Alignment Across AI Teams

• Serving as a central point of contact for other AI teams within the bank;
• Aligning common approaches, standards, and best practices for AI usage and development;
• Driving cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Your Profile

• Experience in working with AI/GenAI technologies and their application in real-world use cases;
• Understanding of agents, LLM-based system;
• Experience in API integration, or software development;
• Ability to connect business requirements with technical implementation;
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly;
• Some experience with prompt engineering for LLM-based systems;
• Some experience with scripting or programming (e.g. Python);
• Understanding of system integration concepts (APIs, webhooks, connectors);
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms or cloud environments (e.g. Azure, GCP);
• Knowledge of AI adoption measurement or transformation frameworks
• Experience in workshop facilitation;
• Familiarity with concepts like RAG, agent orchestration, or multi-agent systems;
• Some experience in defining and tracking KPIs or success metrics;
• Experience in cross-team collaboration and/or stakeholder management;
• Development of agent-based systems and/or automation solutions.

The cluster Dialog Systems delivers products for both brands comdirect and Commerzbank. We have four focus areas:

• Frontend development for Commerzbank Contact Center to improve customer contact;
• Conversational automation for comdirect, like speech dialog systems (SDS), Chat, etc.;
• Frontend development for direct use by clients;
• Automation of processing of user requests, documents and other interactions.

We set new standards and excite both customers and employees with outstanding dialogue experiences. The team itself consists of business experts, developers, scrum master and other specialists with diverse backgrounds, but on common feature: Jointly and dynamically developing the best solutions for our customers.

As AI Enablement & Agent Engineering Specialist you will be responsible for driving the adoption and effective use of AI across the organization. The role combines knowledge enablement, hands-on development of AI agents, integration of enterprise tools, and measurement and coordination of AI transformation initiatives. You will act as a bridge between business, technology, and AI innovation across the bank. The role has a strong impact across the entire organization and is key in shaping and scaling the AI transformation of the bank.
