Senior, Tax Technology Services
Join Deloitte’s Tax Technology Services practice and help clients modernize tax operations through SAP-enabled transformation. In this role, you will support SAP Cloud Platform Integration and S/4HANA tax efforts by connecting tax, technology, and business processes across complex environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to build scalable integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems and help deliver technology solutions that support client business needs.
Work you'll do
As a Senior, Tax Technology Services on the Tax Technology Services team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting SAP integration solutions that enable tax transformation initiatives.
- Design and develop end-to-end integration scenarios, integration flows, and interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications using SAP Integration Suite.
- Configure adapters, message mappings, connectivity, and security settings across integration solutions, including Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), Representational State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and OData.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business and tax requirements into technical designs.
- Design, expose, test, and support OData services and application programming interfaces (APIs), including work with SAP API Management where applicable.
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and support guides.
The team
The Tax Technology Services team helps clients improve tax operations by combining tax domain knowledge with technology-enabled solutions. Professionals on this team work across tax, finance, and information technology stakeholders to design and deliver scalable solutions that support compliance, reporting, and process efficiency. This role supports SAP integration and tax transformation efforts in a collaborative, project-based environment.
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Gurgaon

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years of experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or SAP Integration Suite
- Experience building integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications
- Experience with Representational State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), OData, and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
- Experience with JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT)
- Experience with Groovy scripting
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including Integration Suite and SAP API Management
Preferred:
- SAP certification in Cloud Platform Integration
- Experience designing or supporting OData V4 services
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA tax processes or tax-related integration requirements
- Experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) or other SAP Business Technology Platform services
