As a Custom Loan Servicing Vice President in the Loan Servicing Operations team, you will lead a team responsible for accurate, timely loan servicing and portfolio support. You will interpret loan documentation, manage servicing deadlines, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues and remove roadblocks. You will drive operational improvements and help develop future leaders through coaching, feedback, and day-to-day support
Job responsibilities
- Lead a team of loan servicing specialists to support accurate and timely loan servicing outcomes
- Interpret loan documents and translate requirements into clear servicing actions and controls
- Manage key deadlines and escalations to support consistent portfolio operations and service delivery
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and reduce operational risk
- Coach team members through feedback, mentoring, and skill development to build a strong talent pipeline
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7 years of experience in loan servicing operations, including interpreting loan documents and managing servicing deadlines
- Experience leading teams in a financial services environment with accountability for service delivery and performance outcomes
- Experience resolving complex escalations using conflict management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience setting operational priorities, driving process improvements, and aligning execution to broader business goals within lending operations
- Experience mentoring and developing team members through coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments while meeting service level agreements
- Experience providing structured coaching and performance feedback to support team development and sustained results
- Experience creating quantitative reports and using results to guide operational decisions and improvements
- Experience managing multiple teams and people managers with clear delegation, communication, and oversight routines
- Experience overseeing daily operational controls and meeting key performance indicator targets
- Experience leading teams through the adoption of AI-enabled analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to improve operational efficiency and accuracy, reduce manual effort, and support consistent, well-controlled execution through coaching, change adoption, and continuous improvement
