Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).
Senior Manager, Strategic Expansion Operations & Growth Programs (1-Year Contract)
The Opportunity: Shape Sephora SEA's Digital Future
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Strategic Expansion Operations & Growth Programs to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This critical role will work directly with the Director, Strategic Expansion & Growth Initiatives, to drive the day-to-day operational execution and program management of Sephora SEA’s most impactful growth initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, transforming high-level vision into concrete action plans and tangible results. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination, meticulous project delivery, and robust operational readiness across strategic pillars such as new market & platforms entry, regional product development, and critical digital partnerships.

Strategic Program Management & Operational Execution:
- Support the planning, execution, and oversight of key strategic growth programs, including the digital commerce expansions, regional Gift Card initiatives, and new digital partnerships.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, risk registers, and governance frameworks to ensure programs are delivered on time and within scope.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and collaboration across diverse teams (e.g., Commercial, eCommerce, Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, Operations, CRM, Country teams) to coordinate activities and resolve dependencies.
- Prepare and present compelling reports, dashboards, and executive updates to leadership and key stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and actionable insights.
Digital Commerce Expansion:
- Support the end-to-end operational planning and execution for Sephora’s entry into new digital commerce platforms & markets.
- Coordinate critical workstreams covering platform setup, assortment management, pricing strategy, content localization, payments integration, regulatory compliance, logistics, and customer service readiness.
- Monitor launch readiness, track operational dependencies, and facilitate issue resolution to ensure a successful market launch.
Regional Gift Card Business Operations:
- Support the operational roadmap and execution strategy for the SEA Gift Card business, encompassing digital, physical, and omnichannel integration.
- Coordinate with country teams and central functions on operational rollouts, marketing campaigns, product enhancements, and customer support.
- Track performance metrics, revenue forecasts, and conduct business reviews to optimize Gift Card growth across B2C and B2B channels.
Digital Partnerships & Channel Optimization:
- Facilitate the full lifecycle of regional digital partnerships, from initial evaluation and negotiation support to onboarding, launch, and performance tracking.
- Coordinate internal stakeholder engagement (Legal, Finance, Tech, Marketing) to ensure smooth partnership activation and compliance.
- Develop and implement operational playbooks for co-marketing, data sharing, and partner performance management to maximize ROI.
Digitalization of Retail Customer:
- Contribute to strategies and execution plans designed to seamlessly integrate online and offline experiences, driving retail customers to engage with Sephora’s digital platforms.
- Coordinate omnichannel campaigns, Click & Collect adoption initiatives, and programs aimed at encouraging first-time online transactions for retail-only customers.
We would love to hear from you if you are/have…
- Proven experience in program management, business operations, eCommerce, digital strategy, partnerships, or commercial execution. Experience within beauty, retail, eCommerce platforms preferred.
- eCommerce & Digital Acumen: Strong understanding of eCommerce operations, digital customer journeys, and the broader digital ecosystem in South-East Asia.
- Analytical Rigor: Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling support, performance reporting, and leveraging insights to drive decision-making.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a highly matrixed, fast-paced regional environment, managing multiple priorities with a proactive and independent approach.
- Regional Exposure: Experience working within South-East Asian markets and coordinating across diverse markets will be a plus.
