Scope and Purpose
The Transformation Business Analyst supports the delivery of business transformation initiatives by analyzing business needs, identifying process improvement opportunities, defining requirements, and translating business objectives into effective solutions.
The role acts as a key link between Business, IT, Project Management, external vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a structured approach to business analysis, change implementation, and continuous improvement.
Required Experience
- Analyze business processes, objectives, and requirements to identify opportunities for transformation, optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Engage with Business, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders to understand needs, facilitate workshops, and define priorities.
- Conduct As-Is/To-Be analysis, identify gaps and dependencies, and design improved processes and operating models.
- Gather, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives, project scope, regulatory requirements, and solution capabilities.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, digitization, standardization, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, PMO, IT teams, and vendors to ensure requirements, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and milestones remain aligned.
- Support requirements prioritization, solution assessment, and business impact analysis based on business value, customer impact, risks, complexity, and resources.
- Support UAT and implementation activities, including test scenarios, validation of outcomes, defect resolution, and business readiness.
- Ensure appropriate consideration of regulatory requirements, internal policies, governance, risk controls, and compliance obligations.
- Prepare process maps, analysis, presentations, and management documentation to support decision-making and transformation governance.
- Assess implemented solutions and contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement of processes and Business Analysis practices.
Required skills, qualifications and knowledge
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Transformation, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation, IT Business Analysis, or a similar role; experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
- Proven experience in business/digital transformation, process optimization, system implementation, or technology-enabled change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements management, process modelling, and transformation practices, including As-Is/To-Be analysis, gap analysis, and business impact assessment.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements and translate them into clear deliverables for Business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Power BI, or equivalent business analysis, process modelling, and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
