Senior Vice President, Senior Broker

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Bowring Marsh team at Marsh in Singapore. This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work in the office at least three days per week.

• The role will focus primarily on Property and Casualty (re)insurance programs.
• The successful candidate will support our broking strategy and facilitate the placement of both new and renewal business across the Southeast Asia and Pacific portfolio.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clients with comprehensive marketing and program design advice.
• They will also support and drive revenue growth across the Southeast Asia and Pacific book to meet established growth targets.

We will count on you to:

• Coordinate placement solutions to meet client needs.
• Lead a number of territory-specific accounts, including supporting the Marsh network in accessing Asia (re)insurance market capacity, while ensuring retention and growth of the wholesale portfolio.
• Coordinate with other placement hubs to execute placement requirements promptly.
• Facilitate day-to-day policy account servicing with retail offices, global placement hubs, and markets.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of terms received from markets and ensure that the final recommended lead terms are in clients' best interests.
• Conduct regular meetings with insurers regarding account participation and account pipeline
• Coordinate with overseas colleagues on international client/cedant meetings and market roadshows.

What you need to have:

• More than 12 years of experience working in an international broking house or insurance company.
• In-depth knowledge of the General Property and Casualty reinsurance business, including underwriting and/or broking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent preferred; ANZIIF or ACII would be an advantage.
