• With direct key accounts, regional and country level purchase director and purchase managers; 
• With distributors, purchase director, purchase manager, sales manager and sales directors.

• MS/LUB/INDUS affiliates in APME countries, sales manager and sales director. 
• RC/SF global market manager and sales manager, commercial directors. 
• MS/LUB/INDUS/SF regional supply team

Crop protection is a highly regulated business sector in all the countries in the world. Importing and selling crop protection products needs special license for the local entity. 

Specific and dedicated registrations are required for each and every crop protection products to be sold in each countries. 

TotalEnergies hold several crop protection product with trade marks. 

Crop protection is a highly specialized sector which requires network, experience and expertise, and strong knowledge of the product. 

Crop protection business in APME is highly competitive, including both B2B model with the big farms and B2C model with the small farms, with many local competitors in each countries. 

Activities

Responsible for the entire commercial activities of crop protection sector in APME.

Business development activities

• Ensure proper utilization of Salsa for documentation of prospection and sales
• Responsible for establishing the regional distribution network and road to market strategy in APME countries for crop protection business;
• Product registrations and license managements in APME countries.
• Keep well relationships with associations, related institute or colleges to get certificate or approval for new applications.
• Participate in industrial exhibition, symposium and segment seminar, and give presentations to enhance brand awareness.
• Develop distributors and direct key accounts for crop protection business; and liaise with local affiliates for crop protection activities/business;
• Prepare sales forecast, budget and LTP for crop protection business in APME.
• Market intelligence and developing business in new countries, new crop applications

Sales activities 

• Meet volume and GMVC target in the budget. 
• Handling sales forecasts and sales orders. Price management. 
• Provide technical support and training to business partners and end-users.
• Design and implement the marketing strategy, and executing annual sales plans. 
• Ensure credit limit and compliance/sanction management. 
• Distributor management, annual budget alignment, monthly performance follow-up, organize dedicated distributor seminar for crop protection sector and prepare incentive programs.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in crop/plant protection.
• Project management and technical support.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinking and commercial analysis skills, road-to-market design.
• Willing to work hard and learn; strong accountability, autonomous; be a good team player.
• Able to travel frequently.
• Strong knowledge in Agrochemicals, pesticides and adjuvants, market, commercial and registrations.
• Minimal 8-year sales experience of agrochemicals; familiar with the plant protection and agrochemical market status and marketing strategy in APME region.
