As the Informatica Architect you will architect, design, lead and govern enterprise data management solutions using Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), Data Quality (IDQ), and Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC). You will define target-state data architectures, establish reusable data management patterns, guide implementation teams, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality, governance, discoverability, and trust across the enterprise.Key job responsibilities:
- Define enterprise architecture and implementation roadmaps for Informatica MDM, RDM, IDQ, and CDGC.
- Design employer, employee, services, projects and other domain-specific master data solutions.
- Develop MDM models, hierarchies, relationships, match-and-merge rules, survivorship strategies, and trust frameworks.
- Design reference data structures, mappings, crosswalks, validation rules, and stewardship processes.
- Establish data quality rules, profiling standards, scorecards, exception management, and remediation workflows using IDQ.
- Design data quality reporting solution for batch and event-driven inbound data.
- Configure and govern metadata harvesting, lineage, glossary, classification, ownership, and catalog capabilities in CDGC.
- Integrate Informatica platforms with operational applications, data lakes and AI solutions.
- Define batch, real-time, event-driven, and API-based integration patterns.
- Establish standards for data governance, security, privacy, access control, and auditability.
- Lead architecture reviews, solution design sessions, technical estimations, and implementation planning.
- Produce architecture diagrams, interface specifications, data models, design standards, and operational runbooks.
- Guide developers, data engineers, analysts, and data stewards.
- Troubleshoot complex performance, integration, matching, metadata, and data quality issues.
- Support testing, deployment, production readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Drive reusable frameworks, automation, and continuous improvement across Informatica implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in master data management, data quality management and data catalogs.
- 6+ years of designing and architecting data management solutions using Informatica.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Informatica MDM, Reference Data Management, Data Quality, Cloud Data Governance and Catalog
- Experience designing multi-domain MDM solutions and enterprise data governance operating models.
- Strong understanding of match-and-merge, survivorship, hierarchy management, data stewardship, and data certification.
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud or comparable cloud-based data platforms.
- Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, metadata, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience integrating Informatica data management with platforms such as Redshift and Databricks.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, access management, and regulatory data controls.
- Ability to communicate complex architecture and data concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and communicating with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience with other MDM, DQM and Data Catalogs technologies.
- Experience with Global Mobility, HR, tax, immigration, payroll, finance, or professional services data.
- Experience managing data across multiple jurisdictions, and regions.
- Knowledge of enterprise metadata, lineage, business glossary, reference data, and data catalog strategies.
- Familiarity with privacy, security, retention, and access-control considerations for sensitive personal data and knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Experience with event-driven data distribution, APIs, messaging, or publish/subscribe architectures.
