As a Consultant in the GES Technology Group, you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking software releases across multiple workstreams, ensuring release activities, dependencies, risks, and milestones are effectively managed throughout the release lifecycle. You will develop release cutover plans, facilitate release readiness reviews, monitor security and compliance findings, maintain release governance documentation, and provide accurate status reporting to stakeholders.Working closely with technology, security, operations, and business teams, you will drive cross-functional coordination, support timely issue resolution, and ensure release schedules, approvals, and deliverables are executed in accordance with established release management standards and governance requirements.Shift Timings: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PMLocation: Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Creating release cutover plans, including deployment activities, dependencies, validations, and rollback procedures.
- Tracking vulnerability scan findings and coordinating remediation activities through closure.
- Monitoring penetration testing findings and ensuring timely follow-up with responsible teams.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to track release readiness, dependencies, and milestones.
- Facilitating release readiness reviews and tracking completion of required approval checkpoints.
- Preparing and distributing release status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications.
- Tracking release risks, issues, and action items, and escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Ensuring release documentation, governance artifacts, and audit evidence are maintained and up to date.
- Supporting UAT defect triage activities for critical issues impacting release timelines.
- Accurate and timely tracking of release activities, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Timely escalation of release blockers, vulnerabilities, and issues impacting release readiness.
- Quality and completeness of release governance documentation, reporting, and status communications.
- Maintenance and accuracy of the release calendar and associated release schedules.
- Effective coordination of release readiness activities across participating teams.
- Timely closure and reporting of security, compliance, and release-related action items within assigned scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably computer science, information technology, or a related field; a master’s degree in business or a related discipline is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in technology project management, PMO, digital delivery or release management
- PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, or progress toward one of these certifications is preferred.
- Experience supporting technology projects using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and secure software development life cycle.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of source code repository and branch management practices, including release branching strategies, merge controls, and the configuration and monitoring of security, vulnerability scanning, and deployment governance tools to support secure and compliant production releases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience using collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong project coordination, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global, remote, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation actions, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Awareness of SOC 2 and data privacy requirements, including GDPR.
- Experience working in a highly regulated technology environment.
- Experience with release governance, change coordination, deployment tracking, or production support.
- Experience supporting hypercare, incident management, and post-release stabilization.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other technology delivery methodologies.
