WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build and enhance scalable fund reporting processes and controls that support growth, improve accuracy, and reduce operational risk
- Prepare and review interim and year-end financial statements for investment funds, with a focus on accuracy and clear disclosure
- Partner with Tax, Operations, Treasury, Valuation, Legal, Compliance, and Investor Relations to deliver timely, integrated fund reporting
- Liaise with external fund administrators and auditors to manage audits, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables from planning through completion
- Drive automation and process improvements that streamline workflows, strengthen data integrity, and expand reporting capabilities as the business grows
- Support new fund launches and restructurings by executing accounting deliverables, fee calculations, and related documentation
- Prepare regulatory and investor-facing reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to reporting timelines
- Own ad hoc projects and strategic requests from senior management, balancing independent execution with close collaboration across the Finance team
WHAT’S REQUIRED
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
- 2+ years of work experience at a public accounting firm or a combination of public and private accounting roles
- Experience in audit or accounting within the financial services sector
- Strong data analysis skills with experience working with large datasets and reconciling complex accounting information
- Excellent organizational skills with a track record of delivering accurate work under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical accounting information to non-accounting stakeholders
