About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a curious, hands‑on AI CX/UX Research intern to support the transformation of our in‑house design agency as part of our Zurich AI Lab. You’ll help test AI tools, document simple workflows, and assist with UX and CX research and design tasks. This role is about learning by doing, with close guidance from senior team members.
What you’ll do
- Assist with tool testing: follow test plans to trial AI features for tasks like drafting research notes, generating UI variations, or clustering insights.
- Document findings: capture results, screenshots, and simple comparisons; summarize what worked, what didn’t, and why.
- Create basic assets: help build prompt snippets, checklists, and templates aligned to our brand and accessibility guidelines.
- Support CX/UX research: take notes in sessions, help prepare discussion guides, organize and tag insights after studies.
- Support design tasks: update wireframes, tidy file structures, and prepare simple prototypes in Figma under direction.
- Help with enablement: assist in preparing demo slides or short how-to guides for the design team.
- Follow our standards: apply privacy, security, and ethical use guidelines in daily tasks.
What you’ll bring
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Design, Multimedia, Human‑Computer Interaction, Media Production, or a related field.
- Practical experience (personal projects, coursework, internships) with generative AI tools for text, image and/or video. Familiarity with prompt engineering and model behaviour (capabilities/limitations).
- Basic video production skills: storyboarding, editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut), or motion graphics (After Effects) — or a strong willingness to learn.
- Strong visual sense and understanding of brand, layout and storytelling.
- Comfortable working with creative and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Curious, experimental mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous learning.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
