Intern - Internal Audit (f/m/d)

Your area of work
In this position, you will be part of the Internal Audit team at Eurex Clearing AG, a function that plays a critical role within the organization by providing the Board and management with independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice, and strategic insight.
Over the course of your 6-month internship, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the financial industry, working closely with experienced professionals on real and impactful tasks. From day one, you will be actively involved in our processes, taking on diverse and challenging responsibilities that will broaden your understanding of capital markets and internal audit practices.
Your responsibilities:
- You will support the generation of statistical analysis, reporting and presentations
- You will perform research tasks
- You will participate in ongoing projects within the department
- In addition, you will support the administration of data, process flows and documentation
- Moreover, you will support the day-to-day activities of the Internal Audit function
Your profile:
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, at least one year of studies completed or currently in a gap year, enrollment is not required
- You are interested in capital and stock markets
- You have strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
- You are competent in the handling of Microsoft Office applications
- Futhermoren, you have strong proficiency in written and spoken English, German language skills are an advantage
