Purpose of Role

The Senior Business Analyst has 3 main spans of control:

• Advocate for the platform and develop a continuous improvement attitude for opportunities to improve HR elements of ServiceNow with HR Operations teams, Global Process Owners, and Global Process Business Analysts,

• Technically advise above stakeholders when gathering requirements to ensure developments are fit for purpose and gained/delivered in a standardised, controlled way, according to standard methodology and internal design principles,

• Be fully knowledgeable about and act as a guardian for ServiceNow integrations that impact HR, keeping other stakeholders aware of impacts.

About the role: 

As the Senior Business Analyst you will be accountable for providing advice on the functional capabilities of ServiceNow that could be beneficial to HR, co-ordinating delivery of HR improvements to the platform via technical partners and safeguarding the integration landscape that impacts HR processes.

• Stay up to date with new features and functionality of ServiceNow that would optimise efficiency, improve employee experience, or make valuable contributions to HR processes.

• Be knowledgeable about the comprehensive technical and process landscape of ServiceNow, and how Diageo utilises elements to enable HR processes.

• Proactively engage Global Process Owners and HR Operations teams to advocate utilisation of ServiceNow with a goal of improving complete employee experience.

• Be a strong steer, guiding stakeholders how to best adopt and use existing functionality, embedding guideline principles in stakcustomerdership.

• Maintain a standardised way to gather business and functional requirements from Global Process Owners and HR Operations teams.

• Co-ordinate and drive the delivery of ServiceNow HR changes with technical partners and support teams.

• Partner with the ServiceNow HR Product Owner to ensure accurate documentation is created or maintained for all ServiceNow HR changes.

• Establish and maintain a standardised way to communicate ServiceNow HR changes to impacted stakeholders, and where needed, to employee or manager populations.

• Partner with the HR Operations and Workday Business Analysts, to organise training material creation or maintenance due to ServiceNow HR changes.

• Establish yourself as the guardian and guide for integrations incoming or outgoing with ServiceNow that impact HR processes.

• Develop strong relationships with technical stakeholders: the ServiceNow Platform Owner, the ServiceNow Admin Support Lead, the ServiceNow Senior Developer, and the HR Solution Owner.

• Have regular meetings with technical stakeholders to highlight potential challenges and opportunities, to drive accountability, and to expedite solution thinking.

• Display an understanding of basic system architecture principles.

• Be a good communicator, able to optimally engage and influence stakeholders at different levels of understanding to achieve progress.

• Be confident operating within a fast-paced environment, able to drive conversation quickly across multiple teams.

• Understand and operate design thinking methodology, project management/planning, and compliance by design.

Experience / skills required: 

• Must have English-language fluency, able to articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have tried experience in scustomermanagement and ability to self-manage effectively.

• Must have experience understanding technical elements of a case management system such as ServiceNow or human capital management system such as Workday.

• Must have experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and partnering with technical stakeholders to update system functionality.
• Ideally 2+ years of experience working as part of a multinational HR Shared Services organisation with exposure to different global markets.
• Ideally 2+ years of experience working within a change governance process or framework, being responsible for documentation or communicating changes.
• Ideally has shown familiarity with the functionality of HR Service Delivery, HR Agent Workspace and HR Knowledge Management in ServiceNow.
• Ideally familiar with the Workday HCM platform.
• Ideally experience of designing, and or, solve integrations between different technologies.
