We are seeking a senior front-end leader to shape strategy, architecture, and delivery for scalable digital experiences. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, including recruitment, performance, and talent development. The ideal candidate will partner closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align priorities to business goals, improve processes, and drive measurable impact across people, delivery, and outcomes.
The team
The work you’ll do
- Lead front-end strategy and architecture, delivering reusable components and libraries that support scalable, sustainable digital platforms.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into polished, production-ready experiences that align with client objectives and user needs.
- Evaluate technical feasibility and ensure front-end solutions meet standards for performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and brand consistency.
- Apply modern front-end architecture, design patterns, and optimization techniques such as lazy loading and code splitting to improve reliability and user experience.
- Partner with client stakeholders, product owners, designers, and engineering teams to shape delivery priorities, remove obstacles, and maintain momentum in Agile environments.
- Anticipate emerging technology and capability needs to strengthen solution quality, team readiness, and long-term delivery success.
Team Management:
- Lead recruitment, performance management, stakeholder engagement, and training programs to strengthen team capability, quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Shape team strategy and vision by aligning priorities, resources, and execution plans to business objectives.
- Translate business priorities into actionable plans that improve delivery, drive impact, and support sustainable growth.
- Drive corporate initiatives and operating improvements that enhance how people, processes, and teams work together.
- Communicate directly and constructively to develop talent, elevate team performance, and build department capability.
- Build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders to support collaboration, accountability, and execution.
- Demonstrate confident leadership and people management to guide teams through change, strengthen processes, and improve outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess
- Deep experience leading digital and front-end delivery using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, including Node.js, React.js, and AngularJS.
- Strong understanding of data platforms and persistence technologies, including MongoDB and MySQL, with the ability to inform scalable solution design.
- Significant experience with D3.js and data visualization tools, including implementation bestpractices, performance considerations, and user-centered delivery.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools such as Jenkins and Docker, with a focus on delivery efficiency and engineering quality.
- Proven ability to design and guide front-end test automation strategies that improve reliability, reduce defects, and support sustainable delivery.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility challenges and resolution techniques to ensure consistent user experience across platforms.
- Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to engage effectively across executive, technical, and operational stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and accountability in delivery.
- Practical experience working in Agile environments, including adaptive planning, iterative development, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated team leadership, upward management, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate difficult conversations and drive alignment.
- Track record of identifying process improvement opportunities that reduce production time, improve scalability, and strengthen overall delivery effectiveness.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of front-end development experience.
