Field Manager of Solar and EV Charging

We are looking for a senior leader to shape and scale Goldenergy’s portfolio in the areas of solar energy, batteries, prosumers, electric vehicle charging and energy flexibility.
This role combines product ownership with field operations management, ensuring the definition of the value proposition, business model and customer experience, as well as the delivery capacity of teams, partners and installations.
The position deliberately brings together two complementary profiles: product, commercial or energy-market leadership; or hands-on technical and operational field management. Candidates who can combine both perspectives and lead an integrated portfolio will be particularly valued.
The successful candidate will connect strategy with execution, working closely with Field Services, IT, Sales, Customer Care, Marketing, Legal, Finance and external partners. The role will play a central part in defining priorities, standards and operating models, turning market opportunities into profitable, customer-centred and operationally robust services.
Key responsibilities
Integrated strategy, portfolio and roadmap
Define and maintain the vision, roadmap and priorities for distributed-energy products and field operations.
Balance customer value, commercial impact, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements and delivery capacity.
Ensure alignment between strategy, product development and operational delivery.
Value proposition and business model
Design and improve value propositions, business cases and bundles for different customer segments.
Define commercial models, decision rules and go/no-go criteria for solar PV, battery, prosumer, electric vehicle charging and flexibility services.
Assess market opportunities and ensure the economic sustainability of the solutions.
Field operations and partner management
Lead the operational model for installation and after-sales, including partner selection, onboarding and management.
Ensure capacity planning, performance reviews and the implementation of corrective actions.
Define and oversee stock and service governance.
Ensure that partners and installations consistently meet the defined quality, safety and service standards.
Technical standards and quality assurance
Set and continuously improve installation standards, technical requirements, operating procedures and quality controls.
Implement site-audit routines and ensure clear acceptance criteria are in place.
Validate solutions and coordinate the resolution of technical issues whenever required.
End-to-end customer experience
Own and improve the customer journey from lead generation and proposal through contracting, installation, activation, billing and surplus-energy settlement.
Ensure a consistent experience across support, warranty and retention activities.
Identify customer pain points and drive improvements that positively impact satisfaction, conversion and retention.
Product delivery and operational change
Translate customer, commercial, regulatory and technical needs into clear requirements.
Define process designs, backlog priorities, acceptance criteria, training plans and implementation plans.
Lead the adoption of new processes and solutions, ensuring their integration into operations.
Flexibility and distributed-energy innovation
Develop use cases and partnerships for energy-flexibility solutions.
Explore opportunities related to battery optimisation, self-consumption, smart charging, demand response, aggregation and data-enabled energy services.
Monitor market developments and turn relevant trends into concrete opportunities for Goldenergy.
Commercial, technical and stakeholder support
Support commercial proposals and business cases.
Equip Sales, Customer Care and partners with the technical knowledge, product information and decision rules required for consistent delivery.
Act as a reference point in connecting commercial, technical and operational needs.
Performance, compliance and continuous improvement
Define and improve key performance indicators related to safety, quality, installation lead times, conversion, margin, incidents, customer satisfaction and partner performance.
Monitor results, identify deviations and implement improvement plans.
Manage risks and ensure compliance with relevant obligations in collaboration with the appropriate teams.

Relevant knowledge and experience
Relevant experience in product leadership, field operations, distributed energy, solar energy, batteries, electric mobility or energy flexibility.
Ability to manage strategic, commercial, technical and operational topics simultaneously.
Experience managing partners, suppliers, installations or after-sales operations.
Knowledge of customer-oriented business models and regulated environments.
Ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, technical, digital, finance, legal and customer-support teams.
Experience defining KPIs, processes, quality standards and continuous-improvement plans.
