Position Summary
We are seeking a legal intern to join our Capital Markets practice in Beijing. The ideal candidate is a law student with strong academic credentials and an aptitude for navigating the complex, fast-evolving regulatory landscape. You should be pragmatic, a quick learner, and able to support our lawyers on cross-border transactions.

As a legal intern in our capital markets team in Beijing, you will be working in an exciting environment, handling challenging, time-sensitive matters that demand a dynamic approach and resilience of character.
Duties and Accountabilities
Assisting with due diligence by reviewing corporate documents, financial statements, and compliance records
Supporting the drafting and proofreading of prospectuses and other disclosure documents
Conducting legal research on listing rules, securities regulations, and relevant case law
Coordinating with clients, auditors, and other professional parties to gather required information
Preparing checklists and tracking progress of IPO-related tasks
Translating and proofreading documents and correspondence
Handle ad hoc assignments
Qualifications
Law Student (LLB or LLM) from a top China law school, exchange in an English-speaking jurisdiction preferred
Native Mandarin and fluent English are essential, with strong English reading and writing skills
Hardworking with attention to detail
Computer literacy
Good communication skills
Client service focus
Team player
