Your work profile
As a Manager within the SAP Consulting practice, you will play a critical role in delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud–enabled business transformations for global clients. You will be responsible for leading workstreams or entire engagements, shaping solution approaches, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. The role requires strong functional depth in Professional Services solutions, a solid understanding of integration and intercompany processes, and proven experience delivering within a structured consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud – Professional Services
- Provide subject-matter expertise across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services scenarios, including:
- Project and engagement management
- Time, expense, and resource management
- Customer project billing and invoicing
- Revenue recognition and financial integration
- Advise clients on standard capabilities, configuration options, and cloud‑compliant extensibility while preserving a clean core.
Integration & Architecture Oversight
- Lead design and validation of integration scenarios across the SAP landscape and third-party systems.
- Work with technical teams to govern integrations using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), standard APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure seamless end-to-end process integration across Finance, Projects, Procurement, HR, and Billing.
Intercompany & Financial Process Design
- Design and support intercompany business processes, including:
- Intercompany project execution and billing
- Cross-company cost allocations and settlements
- Multi-entity financial reporting and controls
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory, management, and group reporting requirements.
Stakeholder & Engagement Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders at manager and director levels.
- Lead executive discussions, design reviews, and governance forums.
- Support engagement economics, staffing, and delivery planning in line with firm standards.
People & Practice Development
- Manage, coach, and develop consultants and senior consultants.
- Provide timely performance feedback and contribute to career progression discussions.
- Contribute to practice initiatives including assets, accelerators, knowledge management, and go-to-market offerings.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and pre-sales pursuits.
Required Qualification & Experience
Experience
- 8–12 years of SAP consulting experience, with demonstrated progression to a manager-level role.
- Minimum one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation in a lead or managerial capacity.
- Proven experience delivering Professional Services industry solutions.
- Strong understanding of SAP Activate and cloud implementation governance.
- Experience working in distributed delivery models (onshore/offshore).
Functional & Technical Skills
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Strong understanding of:
- Project-based accounting and revenue recognition
- FI/CO integration with project and billing processes
- End-to-end business process integration
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, standard SAP cloud solutions.
Manager‑Level Consulting Capabilities (Big 4 Expectations)
- Demonstrated client-facing leadership and executive presence
- Strong communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills
- Experience managing teams and delivering through others
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across engagements
- Commercial awareness, including scope and financial management
- Experience contributing to proposals, pursuits, and client presentations
- Comfort operating in complex, fast-paced transformation programs
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification(s)
- Experience with global or multi-country implementations
- Exposure to SAP BTP, extensibility, and ecosystem integrations
- Prior experience with a Big 4 or tier‑1 consulting organization
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, or Business
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred)
