Work you'll do
As a Senior Product Specialist on the Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing the Industry 4.0 Experience
- Continue previous work to develop a baseline experience knowledge base. This includes working with Use Case teams that are developing technical & technological solutions, bringing their Use Case information together at such a level to enable detailed discussions and demonstrations of each Use Case when selected for a particular client experience and/or workshop.
- Design, plan and optimize the SMRF experience, including tours, workshops, and other activities showcasing the opportunities made possible using advanced digital and physical technologies, and to conceptualize ways in which guests can take advantage of those opportunities within their own organizations.
- Identify, select, and help deploy tools that promote a positive, memorable experience for in-person, engagement.
- Create experiences that help set a foundation for strong, lasting client relationships that help us get to the heart of what matters most to our clients / visitors.
- Establish policies and procedures to maintain safety for tour participants throughout the facility, including emergency procedures / action plans and incident reporting
- Conduct visitor-specific preparatory research, and engage with relevant stakeholders (internal and client) to gather information on the context, expectations, and goals of each visit
- Support the Experience design process, which includes a series of calls and offline correspondence with the host team to complete the Experience workbook
- Support the creation of the Experience workbook, which documents:
- Experience agenda
- Experience objectives
- Client background, SMRF journey, and current pain points
- Applicable SMRF use cases
- Customized narrative talking points for the Experience delivery team and the host team
- Relevant client technology details, with a particular focus on relevant Ecosystem technologies
- Post-Experience workshop considerations
- Utilize visual documentation methods to enable co-creation and capture workshop discussion in real-time
- Join for the pre-experience on-site prep session with the host team as a dry run for the experience
- Help position Deloitte as an informed, proactive, trusted advisor and implementor of smart maintenance and repair initiatives to push towards their business goals or desired outcomes
- Managing facility operations
- Maintain active training to operate the key pieces of equipment in SMRF, including, but not limited to:
- CNC: Fadal VMC 15 vertical mill
- 3D Printer: Markforged Metal X System
- Manage and service contracts for factory equipment and keep equipment running effectively
- Operate the equipment to support SMRF tours
- Train rotational WSU student interns on equipment operations and maintenance
- Perform other tasks and special projects as required or as assigned by leadership team
- Relationships & People Development
- Develop working relationships with clients, internal business units and support functions, vendors, and other ancillary service providers to ensure seamless delivery of the SMRF experience
- Collaborate with client / visitor stakeholders to organize and facilitate experience activities (e.g. internal brainstorming sessions, internal team training, thought leadership workshops, client roundtables, advisory board panels, etc.)
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with the entire Smart Factory and Smart Manufacturing teams. The Smart Factory and SMRF sit at the intersection of a number of different portions of the Deloitte firm, and the role requires someone that can maintain healthy relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- 2+ years of experience with Smart Manufacturing technologies, including robotics, artificial intelligence, analytics, cloud-based applications, additive manufacturing, digital twins, or real-time location tracking applications
- 2+ years of experience designing and delivering client-facing workshops, tours, executive briefings, or similar experience-based programs
- 2+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams in support of program, event, or facility operations
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Experience with Smart Manufacturing technologies, including robotics, analytics, artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, augmented reality, or virtual reality
- Experience designing and delivering client-facing workshops, tours, executive briefings, or similar experience-based programs
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams in support of program, event, or facility operations
- Experience with industrial maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes
- Experience operating or supporting CNC machines and 3D printers
- Experience facilitating sessions with senior organizational leaders
- Experience using visual documentation methods to capture workshop output in real time
- Experience supporting sales, proposals, or business development activities
