Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in Houston, Texas.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle for the development of Cloud-based technologies. Manage end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud by leading the information technology project design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Manage various aspects of the information technology project’s full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, information technology project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Workday Cloud Implementation Methodology to manage design and development for Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services.
- Participating in technical teams in order to architect, build and deploy multi-cloud solutions Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Management to support enterprise clients.
- Defining, tracking, and measuring overall department performance and metrics, creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress utilizing Smartsheet and Microsoft (MS) SharePoint.
- Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology solutions using Workday Integration Cloud, Workday Studio, eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), and Packaged Integration Processes (PIP).
- Developing data migration plans from legacy platforms to private and public cloud platforms including Workday Cloud Platform.
- Participating in teams in designing solutions within cloud infrastructures using Workday Cloud Platform.
