ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: ACE can help you write this job description (go/ACE)Technical expert, with strong proven experience of end-end implementation on Calypso ApplicationExpected sphere of influence and collaboration is expected to be immediate team and interfacing teams.Skills involving negotiation and convincing are important, but person needn't be an expert.Train new joiners and team members technicallyLiaise with all related Business and Support Unit stakeholders, including Product Owner, to analyze and challenge business requirementsLeading to functional specifications and detailed user storiesSuggest better ways of working and delivering the tasks assignedPresent technical related topics in relevant forums and discussionsHelp to implement decisions taken during IS Strategy Opco’s of her/his conurbationWork out the team's deliverables as per the planning chalked out by the POMake sure that all the deliverables are met as per time, cost and planTo help in implementing project/applications/services architecture and propose modificationsTo identify pain points and highlight the same along with some high-level solution proposalResearch to determine if solutions currently exist within calypso or required customizationStrengthen functional/technical testing strategy definition and activitiesValidate the effectiveness and coverage of test strategyPropose new ways of testing in line with evolving market standards/practices in QA area. Implementation Strategy and SupportProfile required· Should have 9+ years of Java development experience with at least 6+ years of working knowledge in CALYPSOHands on technical exposure on Calypso Backoffice function, Message setup, workflow, settlement (SWIFTS), Accounting, Settlement instruction, Payment , BO Positions & expert in customization around CalypsoBasic product Knowledge on capital markets as Securities including Corporate Actions, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Listed and OTC DerivativesShould be analytical and able to troubleshoot, debug issue independently & out of box thinking for the solutioning & designingOwnership attitude & good influencing skill is expectedHighly motivated, good communication, ability to follow the open point till the closure is expectedGood in verbal and written communicationAgile environment exposure preferredWhy join usWe are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
