Role Title: Fullstack Java | Engineering as a Service/ Operate

Location: Pune & Chennai

Entity: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP

We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer with hands-on 5 to 10 yrs experience in both backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and experience building modern web applications using React.js or Angular.
The candidate will be responsible for developing new features, enhancing existing applications, integrating frontend and backend services, writing unit tests, troubleshooting issues, and delivering high-quality solutions in an Agile environment. The role requires good problem-solving skills, clean coding practices, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Must Have: -

• Strong knowledge of Java 8+
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices
• Good experience with React.js or Angular
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Good understanding of SQL/Oracle
• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle
• Good knowledge of OOP, Collections, Streams, and Exception Handling

Good-To-Have Skills: -

• Spring Security, JWT/OAuth2
• Kafka or other messaging technologies
• AWS/Azure
• Docker/Kubernetes
• CI/CD and Jenkins
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience in Banking/BFSI domain
• Finacle/Core Banking experience

Key Responsibilities: -

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive and reusable UI components.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and Agile/Scrum activities.
• Work closely with other developers, QA, and business teams to deliver quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications / Good to Have: -

• BE/B.tech, ME/M.tech, BCA, MCA, BSC, MSC or relevant experience.
