Functional TrainerPurpose of the Role
As a Functional Trainer within Training Consultancy & Delivery, Customer Learning Services – Airline Solutions, you will design and deliver engaging training for airline customers. This includes both virtual and in-person sessions. The role focuses on helping customers maximize the effective use of Amadeus Altéa products by creating learner-focused programs and ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences.
You will work independently and collaboratively, applying creativity and best practices to drive customer performance, retention, and satisfaction across the airline industry.
In this role, you'll:
Develop and deliver classroom, virtual, and blended learning programs tailored to client needs.
Analyze training needs through consultation with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Create and maintain high-quality training materials including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and supporting resources.
Transform instructor-led courses into engaging digital learning experiences using established tools and methodologies.
Apply feedback and evaluation processes to ensure relevancy, continuous improvement, and measurable impact of training programs.
Act as a knowledge resource for stakeholders across the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment between training and product updates.
Stay up to date with product innovations and share insights across the training team.
Travel internationally to deliver training onsite at customer locations across North America, South America, Africa, and APAC (Asia Pacific) regions
Relevant Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the airline or travel industry, preferably with training delivery expertise.
Familiarity with Amadeus Altéa or similar airline reservation and inventory systems is an advantage (not mandatory).
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to confidently facilitate training in both virtual and in-person formats.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing needs.
Skilled in digital learning development and learner-centered approaches
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for international assignments.
University degree in Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent professional experience
This role requires valid and unrestricted work rights in Thailand.
