Director - FM Sales, Credit Sales, Standard Chartered Bank, New York, NY. Develop the Bank’s relationships with Financial Institution Clients through marketing and sales of Financial Market products. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of prospective clients’ business models and financial risk profiles and identify appropriate Financial Markets risk-management solutions. Work with Financial Markets Structuring teams to design risk-mitigation and hedging strategies aligned with regulatory capital frameworks, risk-weighted asset considerations, and institutional risk-management objectives. Monitor and manage client risk exposures and trading limits, perform credit-exposure and stress-testing analyses, and coordinate with Risk and Compliance teams to review and approve limit exceptions. Coordinate cross-asset and cross-regional risk advisory activities to ensure consistent delivery of Financial Markets risk management solutions for global client portfolios. Ensure robust risk governance and regulatory compliance by maintaining internal controls, documentation standards, and audit-ready records for Financial Markets risk-related activities.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $250,000/yr. Standard Company Benefits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Economics or a related field, and seven (7) years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related work experience.

Must have seven (7) years of experience with/in:

• Originating, marketing, and execution of credit flow products including IG/HY bonds, emerging‑market credit, and convertible bonds;
• Financial Markets product knowledge including structuring, pricing, and execution across multi‑asset classes;
• Client risk assessment including analysis of investment strategies, risk appetite, credit risk, and market conditions;
• Trade execution and order management in accordance with internal policies, best‑execution rules, and regulatory requirements;
• Financial analysis and market‑intelligence generation including evaluation of market trends, pricing data, and product performance;
• RWA optimization and regulatory capital awareness to support product selection and client engagement strategies;
• Utilizing and monitoring client trading limits, including obtaining approvals for limit excess and managing exposure risks; and
• Cross‑asset and cross‑border product integration to deliver holistic Financial Markets solutions to global institutional clients.
