Join a leading multinational insurance company within the AXA Group’s P&C and Specialty Risk division. We offer insurance coverage for companies and multinationals in over 200 countries, managing complex industrial risks across Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, and Specialty lines.

As a key member of the Operations team in AXA XL Madrid, you will ensure the efficient management of the end-to-end policy lifecycle, providing insurance coverage to clients worldwide.

You will join a team that aims to provide a high-quality service for our clients, working closely with underwriters, brokers, foreign AXA XL offices and network partners.

The position is based in our Madrid office, with a minimum requirement to work in the office three days a week.

What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and other external parties, ensuring clear and professional communication about the status of insurance contracts (including documents issuance, bookings, outstanding premiums, and instructions to network partners);
• Collaborate closely with underwriters, colleagues from other AXA XL offices, such as AXA XL’s global service team and network partners, to guarantee timely and accurate account handling;
• Verify and review policy documents, invoices, and premiums, maintaining data accuracy and data quality within our systems;
• Manager and monitor premium flows and related transactions across clients, brokers, co-insurers, and reinsurers to ensure smooth and efficient processes;
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing structured feedback and supporting ongoing workflows optimization and technology tools development;

You will report to the Team Lead Operations

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

• Previous experience in administrative and/or customer facing roles in complex organizations.  Experience in Insurance sector will be a plus.
• Fluent Spanish and English (B2 - C1 level CEFR) with excellent communication skills
• Effective relationship management skills, capable of maintaining relationships with internal clients, vendors and brokers.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset, with a proactive attitude and flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and new challenges.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Good team player, capable of self-learning and able to work within a team environment.
