Business Analyst, Regulatory Reporting Technology
Overview
Join our Regulatory Reporting Technology team, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver solutions supporting global regulatory reporting obligations. You'll play a key role in regulatory change initiatives, data analysis and technology delivery across Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Produce process flows, use cases, functional specifications and data mappings.
- Support regulatory reporting initiatives across MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR and other reporting regimes.
- Perform data analysis and investigate reporting issues using SQL.
- Support solution design, testing (SIT/UAT) and implementation activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency.
- Partner with business, technology and regulatory stakeholders to drive successful delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services.
- Exposure to Regulatory Reporting, Capital Markets or Regulatory Change programmes.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
- SQL and data analysis experience.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR or transaction reporting.
- Understanding of Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle processes.
- Experience within Investment Banking or Financial Markets technology environments.
