We are looking for a sales-focused leader who will advance our account management team, build strategic client relationships and drive sustainable growth in financial services.
Your role
In this key role, leadership, commercial management and personal support for key strategic accounts go hand in hand.
- Establishment and further development of key account management
- Establishment of clear objectives, standards and best practices for account plans, customer retention, renewals, and cross-selling and upselling.
- Provision of personal support to selected key accounts and building strong relationships at executive level.
- Responsibility for existing customer growth, retention, the renewal pipeline, the quality of forecasts and the acquisition of assigned new customers.
- Managing complex tender, RFI/RFP, contract renewal and negotiation processes through to completion.
- Early identification of customer risks, growth potential and appropriate measures based on relevant KPIs.
- Close collaboration with Sales, Customer Support, Growth, Product Management, Analytics and other units.
- Incorporation of customer, market and competitor feedback into product development and go-to-market priorities.
- Further development of scalable account management processes, CRM standards, governance and reporting.
Your profile
- Several years’ experience in strategic or key account management, enterprise software sales or a comparable commercial role.
- Proven leadership experience and a passion for coaching account managers and ensuring they focus on shared goals.
- A successful track record in developing strategic enterprise clients, as well as experience in renewals, retention, cross-selling and upselling.
- Confidence in handling complex tenders, contractual negotiations and multi-stakeholder situations.
- Strong commercial judgement, as well as experience in forecasting, pipeline management and CRM-based performance management.
- In-depth expertise and a network in the financial services sector, as well as experience with SaaS, data, analytics or risk management solutions.
- An entrepreneurial, customer-focused and engaging leadership personality with fluent German and English language skills.
