You'll play a key role in identifying and unlocking strategic growth opportunities, developing new partnership propositions, and creating experiences that differentiate ING in an increasingly competitive market. Whether it's launching a new customer benefit, securing a high-profile strategic partner, or building a compelling proposition from concept to execution, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact.
We're looking for commercially astute relationship builders who enjoy operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. You'll combine business development expertise with strong commercial negotiation skills to source, assess and secure partnership opportunities, while working closely with senior stakeholders to build business cases, evaluate opportunities and drive successful outcomes. From leading targeted RFP processes to onboarding and managing strategic partners, you'll own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle and help deliver experiences that create value for both our customers and the business.
This role will suit someone who understands the evolving loyalty, rewards and partnerships landscape and is excited by the opportunity to explore new opportunities across retail, travel, insurance, subscriptions, entertainment and adjacent customer ecosystems. What You'll Do
Lead the identification, assessment and delivery of strategic partnership opportunities that support ING's growth agenda and enhance the customer value proposition.
Drive end-to-end partnership and business development activities, including partner sourcing, market engagement, RFP management, commercial negotiations, contracting, onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
Develop robust business cases through customer insights, commercial analysis, opportunity sizing and strategic assessment to support investment decisions and prioritisation.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, customer and distribution teams to bring new propositions and partnership opportunities to market.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the loyalty, rewards, retail, travel and insurance ecosystems to identify emerging opportunities and create competitive advantage.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in strategic partnerships, business development, commercial management or alliance management, with a track record of sourcing, negotiating and delivering successful partnership outcomes.
Strong experience leading end-to-end RFP and commercial negotiation processes, including partner identification, evaluation, contracting and implementation.
Deep understanding of the loyalty, rewards and partnerships landscape, with experience across industries such as retail, supermarkets, travel, insurance, entertainment, telecommunications or other customer-focused sectors.
Experience developing business cases, commercial models and strategic recommendations to support decision-making and investment prioritisation.
Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and external partners.
A commercially minded self-starter who combines strategic thinking with execution excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
