Job Description
Visa is looking for a results-driven, tech-curious Account Executive with a pasion for value-based solution selling to support the Caribbean. In this role, you will sell the entire portfolio of Visa solutions, will define account strategies and align the necessary resources to deliver your account plans, while building strong client relationships. Qualified candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships and a relentless drive to excel in sales.
Key functions:
- Oversee and lead account strategy, annual plans, manage client relationships, and coordinate sales and post-sale resources like Specialist Sellers and Client Success Managers.
- Orchestrate key sales motions across different sales and support functions (Specialist Sellers, Sales Engineers, Client Success Managers, etc.)
- Manage client revenue, driving upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts identifying compelling value propositions that address customer needs
- Manage new business development and expansion of existing accounts by identifying client pain points
- Oversee pipeline management, lead new sales opportunities, negotiations, and deal closing
- Oversee and manage client incentive and business renewals.
- Manage and execute territory plans to increase sales and market share within existing accounts.
- Manage P&L and guide strategic investments to ensure sustainable business growth and optimal financial performance.
- Drive operational efficiencies and orchestrate other supporting teams to ensure maintenance and improvement of portfolio performance.
- Demonstrate expertise in the payments landscape and technology solutions to lead creative strategies to grow Visa’s business.
- Foster productive relationships at all levels with clients and the Visa organization, including C-suite executives
- Lead sales meetings and training activities.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date account information by maintaining rigorous CRM data hygiene and adherence to data management best practices.
- Provide operational or technical leadership within the sales team.
- Ensure the implementation and achievement of annual goals and plans.
- Influence the client’s vision for the future of electronic payments by understanding the current landscape, as well as their goals and challenges, in alignment with Visa’s strategies.
- Safeguard data integrity and compliance with Visa Policies.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Self-motivated leader with a history of broadening or elevating their role
- Willingness to learn and execute effectives sales strategies for new payment products and services
- Card Issuing/Acquiring experience beneficial. Exposure to servicing Financial Institution clients in these areas is required
- Proven ability to consistently exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to develop, lead and close complex competitive sales efforts
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency, professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills
- Proven ability to negotiate agreements and contracts effectively, ensuring favorable terms and successful outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations specific to the industry, ensuring compliance and informed decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence and ability to effectively create and deliver presentations to all audiences up to the executive levels
- Demonstrated understanding in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and data-driven decision-making, with a strong ability to apply emerging trends to influence client strategy and business outcomes
- High level of competence in managing teams with diverse backgrounds as well as cross-functional management of stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships
- Ability to negotiate business agreements and enhance existing and new relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision making
