Business Performance Analyst
Join our strong Planning & Performance team (PPM) and take on the opportunity to work with leading Business Performance specialists on Group level and in Bratislava. You will work closely with central/local Treasury and PPM teams on financial reporting and monitoring of Zurich Group Financial KPIs within the regular closing and planning processes.

Your role
As a Business Performance Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
- Modelling: Build and analyze financial models to forecast and plan company’s future performance (Anaplan / Excel)
- Reporting: Cooperate with Group Finance teams on delivery of Actual Close, Forecast and Plan submissions as part of the monthly financial reporting process
- Analytical: Identify variances between actual and forecasted/Planned variances, gather information from relevant stakeholders and build narratives for further business steering
- Communication: Communicate complex financial results in a clear, concise manner to relevant stakeholders
Your Skills and Experience
As a Business Performance Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics or Business Administration
- 3+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Controlling, Financial reporting or in accounting
- Understanding of Corporate Finance fundamentals and their practical application in strategic business decisions
- CFA certification is an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, especially the ability to clearly explain outcomes of your work
- Strong skills in task prioritization and time management
- Strong data management, analytical and financial reporting skills
- Anaplan model building skills is an advantage
We offer
Compensation for roles at Zurich depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific role, skill set, level of experience, and subject to applicable law. Zurich thus provides a range of compensation aligned to internal job architecture and market benchmarks to ensure fair and consistent pay for comparable roles.
The starting base monthly salary for this position is 3000 EUR/ Gross.

- Hybrid work: We would be happy to meet you in the office/ coworking space 3 times a week with the added flexibility of working from home on a weekly basis.
