The Data team for KBC Securities Services is looking to expand. Our team is responsible for the analysis and creation of a wide variety of reports, ranging from simple requests that can help improve our business processes in their day-to-day work, to complex tax reports that go to government authorities, to glorious dashboards that can provide insights into what our business actually does.
We do the reporting for Securities Services department, whose mission is to provide a full solution for our clients in anything that is related to the stock market. Your contextual knowledge of the inner workings a bank operating on the stock market is sure to increase. You will report on data throughout the entire process, starting with the Order and Trade flow, transaction settlement, any assets in our clients custody, to any reporting on those positions. Do you have a knack for data? Would you like to grow your business intelligence skills in a challenging and fast moving business? Then we might be the team for you!
You will be applying your data skillset on the SAP Business Objects platform, where you’ll learn how to use SAP BO Business Intelligence, SAP BO Data Services (if needed) and other related tools. Our focus however lies on skills that are independent from the tools used.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain & improve BI reports for internal & external use
- Provide insightful reports to all layers of our business
- Engage with various stakeholders to understand their needs and provide them with correct & customer-oriented output
- Document our report solutions (summary analysis & persistent documentation)
And, depending on chosen career path:
- Maintaining our Date Warehouse and Business Objects Universes
- Run, create & maintain ETL Processes
- Write clear and concise analyses of complex business projects to achieve an efficient report solution
We expect:
- Ability to master complex data models quickly
- Willingness to learn and understand the logic of our business, which is of vital importance to report things correctly
- You can prioritize and are able to function in time-critical circumstances
- You can work in an agile team which is always looking to improve our way of working
- You have a knack for analysing things and are able to present complex matters in a clear and structured way
- You are a flexible team player who likes to collaborate with many different stakeholders as well as within the team
- Relevant working experience with either Business Objects or any other reporting tool such as Qlik Sense
- Previous working experience with SAP Business Objects (BI/DS/CMC/… is an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL is an advantage
- Knowledge of Securities Services is an advantage
