Your work profile
Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Services Developer with strong experience in backend service development. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, along with experience in containerization, Kubernetes, and Azure.
Key skills required:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Experience with Docker
- Good working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure
- Experience in developing and maintaining backend services/microservices
- Good understanding of REST APIs and service integration
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build and enhance applications using Java.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with Azure services for application deployment and integration.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Follow coding standards, development best practices, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field
- Spring Boot
- Express.js
- Experience with cloud-native application development
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments
