Your work profile
As a Delivery Manager in our Assurance team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -
- Review and approve management fee, performance fee / carried interest, and other fund-level calculations.
- Ensure fee computations are aligned with fund agreements, hurdles, waterfalls, and catch-up mechanisms.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex fee-related queries from clients and internal teams.
- Oversee end-to-end fund accounting for real estate funds across multiple structures (closed-ended / open-ended).
- Own and review the finalization of NAV, CUV, and NUV, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fund governing documents and applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate NAV delivery, including validation, complex variance analysis, and resolution of issues.
- Act as the final reviewer for all critical accounting outputs prior to client delivery.
- Oversee expense accruals, booking, and reconciliations at both fund and property levels.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of operating expenses, fund expenses, and month/quarter-end close activities.
- Drive consistency and best practices across expense accounting processes.
- Review and sign off on investor reports, including capital account statements, drawdowns, distributions, and performance reporting.
- Act as a primary client-facing contact, addressing queries related to NAV, fees, financials, and investor-level reporting.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Oversee preparation and review of fund financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and notes).
- Lead statutory audits, investor audits, and regulatory reporting, including coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS or other applicable accounting standards and internal control requirements.
- Act as the key engagement lead for clients, fund managers, auditors, tax advisors, and internal leadership.
- Manage expectations, communicate timelines, and proactively address risks or delays.
- Present fund performance, accounting outcomes, and risk items to senior stakeholders when required.
- Own PMO responsibilities for assigned funds, including planning, tracking deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
- Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics.
- Monitor workload, capacity planning, and delivery risks; escalate proactively where required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around process efficiency, standardization, and automation.
- Utilize Yardi for fund and property accounting, NAV calculations, and reporting.
- Use Workiva for financial reporting, disclosures, and collaborative reporting processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, documentation, and standardization efforts
Key skills required:
- 7–12+ years of relevant fund accounting experience, with significant exposure to real estate funds.
- Strong expertise in NAV, CUV, and NUV finalization.
- Deep understanding of management and performance fee structures.
- Proven experience managing investor reporting and fund financial statements.
- Hands-on working knowledge of Yardi and Workiva.
- Demonstrated experience in client engagement, SLA governance, and team leadership.
- Qualification : CA / CPA / ACCA/MBA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with global clients and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
