Global Business Services
Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview*
The Global Payment Operations (GPO) organization delivers global wire transfers and ACH payments for internal and external bank clients and supports end-to-end payment execution and investigations for transactions initiated through various channels. The team also provides sanctions screening on transactions for multiple products, in accordance with policies established by the Global Economic Sanctions Compliance team.
Global Payments Support & Enablement (GPSE) CoE is responsible for various Testing / Change Management engagements encompassing Payment platforms for EMEA, APAC, US and Canada regions. GPSE resources ensure Enterprise Change documentation and procedures are followed for compliance to the Change MRA2 governance.
Job Description*
This job is responsible for managing medium to large projects for an operations department or Line of Business. Key responsibilities include coordinating execution across stakeholders and test groups, managing project scope, planning, organizing and governing the test execution and working closely with management on project impact and direction. Job expectations include acting as the first point of contact for end-to-end project status, project health, mitigation, and timely escalation to leadership and stakeholders. They will also define the project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. This role requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area to be able to assess and analyze the impact of new initiatives to the team.
Responsibilities*
- Manages and directs project parameters, costs, project testing execution, and resource allocation.
- Partners with operations management on creating project impact and providing direction and guidance to internal teams.
- Coordinates development of key project deliverables in partnership with various key internal and external business partners
- Manages and leads the execution of multiple and often competing priorities to meet deadlines and adhere with policies and procedures.
- Establishes project status routines and tracks critical path deadlines and overall business measures for success.
- Leads defect resolution and roadblock clearing efforts to enable successful completion of testing.
- Acting as the primary point of contact and integration for the assigned projects
- Driving the end-to-end integration of various work streams to deliver the intended project solution, including requirements gathering, data mapping, project execution, integration and implementation.
- Coordinating execution, manage project scope, planning, organizing and governing the test execution
- Obtaining and aligning resources to key project roles
- Directing the work efforts of resources that may be functionally aligned as part of the project.
- Managing the project scope, timeline and budget/expenses
- Establishing clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities across project participants
- Leading risk management and mitigation planning readiness, change adoption, stakeholder management, and quality assurance.
- Ensuring all applicable change requirements are satisfied.
Requirements*
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with projects, production support activities and/or payment operations
- Cross functional with strong business analysis, problem solving, quality management and organization skills
- Skilled in translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams to drive innovation and unique solutions.
- Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner.
- Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
