Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

• Technical troubleshooting expertise: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across multiple platforms and systems
• Client service orientation: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
• Organisational and administrative capability: Excellent prioritisation, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• IT foundation knowledge: Qualification or demonstrated experience in Computer Science, Business Computing, or equivalent technical background; motivation to build a sustained career in IT

What type of work will I be doing?

• Provide first and second level technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues through systematic troubleshooting and research
• Log, track, and manage all incidents and service requests, ensuring timely updates and resolution within agreed service levels
• Deploy new hardware, software, and peripheral equipment to end users, ensuring proper configuration and user enablement
• Assist with the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of the hardware refresh program across the organisation
• Support the wider IT team with escalations, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving on complex issues
• Provide administrative assistance to the IT Management Team, including documentation, reporting, and process support
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service desk processes and user experience through feedback and suggestions
