Role purpose:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Regulatory Change Management Enterprise Governance, Oversight and Reporting team within Global Regulatory Change Management (GRCM), part of Northern Trust’s Chief Operating Office. GRCM oversees Northern Trust’s end-to-end management and delivery of regulatory change and provides ownership, governance and oversight of the Regulatory Change Management (RCM) Standard and related protocols.

The Regulatory Change Management (RCM) Enterprise Governance, Oversight & Reporting team serves as the central governance and coordination function for Regulatory Change Management across Northern Trust. Acting as an enterprise hub, the team establishes and maintains the frameworks, governance processes, oversight mechanisms, management information, and reporting capabilities that enable the firm to identify, assess, govern, monitor, and evidence compliance with regulatory change obligations globally.

The team provides leadership across the Lines of Defense to promote consistent adoption of the Regulatory Change Management Standard, strengthen regulatory risk management practices, improve transparency of regulatory implementation activities, and support the firm's ability to demonstrate compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

This Analyst Role will provide high-quality data, reporting, governance and coordination support that enables effective enterprise oversight of the RCM process. The role will maintain trusted data and repositories, produce scheduled and ad-hoc management information, support governance forums, track agreed actions to completion and act as an approachable first point of contact for stakeholder questions. The Analyst will help drive consistent adoption and alignment with the RCM process across the organization.

This is a non-client-facing, non-revenue-generating individual-contributor role. The Analyst is expected to take ownership of assigned activities, work autonomously within established procedures, collaborate actively across related teams and seek support when needed. The successful candidate will anticipate patterns and wider implications, communicate unusual or complex content clearly and contribute practical solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
