Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

The Staffing function is the holistic owner of key components of the BCG consulting team employee experience. Most notably, the function drives the development and deployment of BCG’s most important asset – its people – while supporting overall business objectives (e.g. staff utilization, project team balance). The Talent Senior Specialist - Pipeline will play a key role in driving strategic and operational support for the Staffing function in the Talent Management team within BCG’s West system, while also serving as a team member of the larger consulting talent community in North America.

The Talent Senior Specialist – Pipeline owns the process of landing an appropriate team of consultants to execute individual projects, while driving the overall objectives of the business (e.g., team balance and staff utilization). Additionally, a portion of this person’s time may be spent driving the dynamic allocation and prioritization of business development resources and managing other system priorities (e.g., summer intern staffing). Over time, this individual may also own a small roster of Associates or Consultants and will support their development, career navigation, and staffing.

The role is ideal for someone passionate about a career in the HR/People space, and who thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining a keen attention to detail. A qualified candidate is a strategic thinker who can effectively prioritize competing tasks and collaborate with, influence and manage stakeholders (including all levels of Consulting staff + Business Services Team members across key functions like Finance/HR) to meet the needs of individual consultants, the firm, and our clients.
