We help businesses grow, economies prosper, and people realise their ambitions.Our private banking business uses Avaloq, a leading end-to-end wealth management and banking platform supporting client management, investments, trading, lending, payments, risk, compliance, and back-office operations.We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to drive the successful delivery of technology initiatives across Core Solutions SVS. You will enable high-performing Agile teams, strengthen delivery governance, remove impediments, and ensure measurable business and technology outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end delivery planning and execution across multiple technology workstreams, balancing scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and dependencies.
- Partner with Product Owners and technology teams to manage, refine, prioritise, and maintain effective backlogs.
- Apply and improve Agile ways of working, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, PI Planning, and Scrum of Scrums.
- Track delivery progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits; provide clear recommendations and escalate blockers where needed.
- Facilitate key governance forums, including Value Stream Reviews, Portfolio Syncs, PI Planning, QBRs, and Scrum of Scrums.
- Support Value Stream capability prioritisation, including Capability Investment Cases and Capability Hypothesis Statements.
- Ensure teams follow required controls, including security, architecture, capability management, and technology standards.
- Maintain visibility of resource demand, capacity, skills, locations, and funding requirements across the Value Stream.
- Deliver concise, actionable Value Stream reporting, including self-service dashboards and exception reports for senior stakeholders.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- At least 10 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in project, programme, or business management roles.
- Proven project delivery experience within the banking or financial services domain.
- Strong knowledge of the SDLC and Agile delivery approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and hybrid methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support distributed, multi-disciplinary technology teams.
- Experience managing complex delivery portfolios, dependencies, risks, governance, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong commercial and operational awareness, including capacity planning, resource management, budgets, and funding changes.
- Ability to translate strategic goals into practical delivery plans and make sound decisions in complex environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills across senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Avaloq technology and private banking platforms is an advantage.
What we offerThe pay range for this role is 16 000 – 21 000 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
