BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE Advanced Analyst / Data Scientist
Power Platform and Analytics | Visualization | AI Enablement
1. BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP, PRODUCT OWNERSHIP & SOLUTION DELIVERY
Core Requirement:
Serve as a trusted business partner and lead stakeholders through the complete solution lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences.
- Partner closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and operational teams to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Manage the full end-to-end lifecycle of reporting, analytics, and Power Platform solutions from intake through deployment.
- Coordinate testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production implementation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
2. POWER BI DEVELOPMENT & DATA VISUALIZATION
Core Requirement:
Advanced Power BI development, data modeling, and dashboard design expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions.
- Develop complex DAX calculations, measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Build scalable and efficient data models following BI best practices.
- Create intuitive and impactful visualizations that effectively communicate business performance and operational metrics.
- Optimize report performance, usability, and user experience.
- Implement report security, governance standards, and content lifecycle management practices.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to refine reporting requirements and deliver meaningful analytics solutions.
- Support ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production reporting assets.
3. POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT & AUTOMATION
Core Requirement:
Design and develop business applications and workflow automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support business applications using Power Apps.
- Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Develop solutions that streamline business processes, improve data quality, and enhance user productivity.
- Build data capture, approval, notification, and process management applications.
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain existing Power Platform solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve and expand Power Platform capabilities across the organization.
4. AI ENABLEMENT, COPILOT & INNOVATION
Core Requirement:
Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance business intelligence, reporting, automation, and user productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered capabilities to accelerate data analysis, report development, documentation, and business solution delivery.
- Design, develop, and support AI-enabled business solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform technologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and user experience.
- Develop conversational experiences, custom copilots, and AI-assisted workflows that provide business users with self-service access to information and insights.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions that improve reporting, analytics, automation, and business processes.
- Create prompts, knowledge sources, and governance standards to ensure AI solutions are secure, accurate, and aligned with organizational policies.
- Implement AI capabilities within Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions where appropriate.
- Provide training and guidance to business users on AI tools, best practices, and responsible AI usage.
