MISSIONS:

1) Explore and create Innovative Packaging concepts in collaboration with R&I, Operations and Marketing teams to have new or better products for consumer, at cost, at scale and at speed.
 2) Follow market trends constantly with internal stakeholders to focus on right innovation territories. 
 3) Frame innovation opportunities with partners, inspire and influence for right pathways.

4) Translate consumer insight to right technical concepts by leveraging right techno.

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Competitive Advantage: 
  1. Leverage technical expertise to transform desirable and sustainable Innovation: 
  2. Develop and protect Intellectual Property (novelty, utility and non-obvious solutions)
  3. Deploy pilot tool/prototyping and ensure proof of products
  4. Integrate Group’s sustainability masterplan from concept / project ideation apart from fulfilling to key fundamentals: Safety, Quality, Responsiveness, Profitability.
  5. Create new project in scientific way and contribute on business by smooth transforming innovative packaging.
  6. Manage technical dossier

• Global Partnership:
  1. Actively participate regular communication and sharing with WW teams 
  2. Lift & leverage zone initiatives to Global
  3. Align on technical conception with global vision
  4. Work with global packaging constellation:
     • Packaging science
     • Sustainability packaging
     • Packaging Evaluation 
     • User experience design

• IP / Agreements:

1. Local and Global alignment with Business Development: Contract and IP management
2. Apply patent to protect our IP

• Operational Synergies:
  1. Ensure visibility / explosure 
  2. Technology transfer success
  3. Ensure cross-functional integration in development 

QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or a related technical field
• Extensive knowledge in Packaging engineering &Development, 8+ years of proven experience, cosmetic field preferred
• Proficient in English 
• Self-Motivated and good learning and communication ability
• Frequent travel is needed in North Asia to have close contact with innovation partners.
