Junior Financial Markets Analyst (maternity cover)

You will be part of the Financial Markets Middle Office team, which acts as the independent control body for the Front Office and Back Office departments.
Responsibilities:
- execution of daily processes to detect suspicious activities or errors
- reconciliation of accounting balances, investigation of the differences
- challenge and check of explanation from the involved parties, cooperation with colleagues in various teams
- reporting and escalation to the management levels
- analysis of internal processes, continuous improvement of quality and risk reduce
- communication in English on a daily basis
Expectations:
- university degree (mathematics, economics, or equivalent)
- to be fluent in oral and written communication in English and Czech
- continuous self-development is a must to keep up in a fast changing financial world
- to be self-confident in communication with people
- stress resistance and capability to handle tight deadlines
- strong analytical skills and accuracy with numbers
- knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, ...)
- knowledge of dealing room products and/or systems is an asset
