Manager - Branch Manager AAGI Sales - Samui Branch

Responsible for controlling, managing, and monitoring branch operations to ensure the achievement of defined business targets.
- Manage and control branch expenses within the approved budget to ensure cost efficiency and financial discipline.
- Provide recommendations and implement improvements to work procedures and processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise and support subordinates by providing direction, guidance, and coaching to enhance work effectiveness, strengthen employee morale, and promote teamwork, ensuring all activities are carried out according to plans and company standards.
- Perform HR-related activities, including employee performance evaluations, career development planning, and training initiatives, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.
- Manage, control, and oversee branch operations, including underwriting, marketing, accounting, administrative, and claims-related functions, in coordination with the Head of Claims, to achieve established business objectives and targets.
- Plan and execute marketing activities and business development initiatives to achieve assigned sales and growth targets.
- Recruit agents and direct customers, maintain relationships with existing customers, and expand new customer acquisition through branch channels to achieve business targets.
- Prepare quotations in accordance with standard underwriting guidelines. Cases requiring non-standard underwriting approval shall be referred to the Underwriting Manager at Head Office.
- Coordinate with and report to Head Office to ensure smooth and efficient branch operations.
- Conduct regular sales and portfolio analyses to ensure consistent performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and manage assigned ASOs and agents to support sales growth and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within relevant industries and business networks to establish the company as a trusted and valued partner.
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and skills through internal and external learning opportunities to maintain high quality of work and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- Direct sales and marketing experience in financial institutions, the insurance industry, or related financial services businesses.
- Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
