To provide technical solution to State Street Global Delivery (SSGD) Fund Administration operation team. The successful candidate will have an in-depth and expert knowledge of requirement analysis and solution delivery lifecycle.

What you will be responsible for:

The Fund Admin Officer (Transformation) leads the strategy, design, adoption, and scaling of data, automation, and AI-enabled transformation across the Fund Admin RTS function. The role partners closely with Operations, Technology, and Governance/Risk stakeholders to identify high‑value problems, define solution roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes (cycle time reduction, control strengthening, defect reduction, scalability).

This position is accountable for taking automation/AI initiatives from problem definition → solution design → build → testing → release → hypercare → BAU run, ensuring robust controls, documentation, and operational resilience.

A. Transformation Leadership (end-to-end)

• Own a multi‑quarter Fund Admin transformation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives by value, feasibility, risk, and control impact.
• Drive process re‑engineering before automation (simplify, standardize, eliminate waste), then scale with tooling.
• Establish an “automation factory” operating rhythm: intake, triage, sizing, pipeline, delivery governance, benefits tracking.

B. Automation Delivery (build + scale)

• Lead a team of SMEs/analysts/tech specialists to deliver automation solutions (e.g., workflow, reporting automation, reconciliations, data validations).
• Identify and qualify automation opportunities via process analysis and feasibility assessment (complexity, data readiness, control impact).
• Deliver solutions using appropriate tooling (e.g., VBA, Python, RPA/APA/RDA or equivalent) with strong SDLC discipline.
• Ensure every automation has: requirements, design, test evidence, release notes, runbook, monitoring, and support model.

C. Data & Insights Enablement

• Partner with stakeholders to define data products / insight needs (e.g., operational KPIs, quality metrics, exception trends) and implement repeatable datasets and dashboards.
• Drive data quality improvements (validation rules, lineage, reconciliations, exception management).

D. AI / GenAI Enablemen.

• Identify and implement AI use cases to augment Financial Reporting work (e.g., intelligent exception triage, narrative generation with controls, document/working‑paper summarization, test evidence assembly, control checking).
• Promote safe, governed usage of GenAI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot where available) and embed “human‑in‑the‑loop” review for regulated outputs.
• Where applicable, support adoption of next‑gen automation such as agentic AI orchestration platforms (e.g., workflow automation with agents) to reduce manual repetitive work while maintaining accountability and auditability.

E. Risk, Controls, and Operational Resilience (tightened)

• Establish team norms and controls to manage production risks from technology usage (information security, data leakage, access control, change governance).
• Maintain structured change control, including impact assessment, approvals, segregation of duties, and rollback plans.

F. Stakeholder & Change Management

• Influence senior stakeholders with clear problem statements, options, cost/benefit, and implementation plans.
• Drive adoption: training, comms, playbooks, and measurable usage.

Education & Preferred Qualifications: 

• Education and Experience

• 5+ years experience in a professional services / financial services operations environment.

• Proven track record delivering end-to-end digital transformation initiatives (discovery → delivery → adoption).
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills; able to negotiate priorities and drive adoption.
• Program/project delivery discipline with evidence of delivering outcomes on time/cost/quality constraints.
• Strong control mindset and understanding of operational risk in production environments.

• Skills/ Knowledge

  Automation scripting (Python preferred)

• Write maintainable scripts for data transformation, validation, exception handling, and report assembly.
• Use structured coding practices: modularization, logging, error handling, configuration, and basic unit testing.

• Data querying (SQL)

• Create and optimize queries for reconciliation, exception detection, and operational metrics.
• Understand joins, aggregations, data quality checks, and performance considerations.

• Workflow / RPA / Low-code automation (one or more)

• Deliver production automations using RPA/Workflow tooling (e.g., UiPath / APA / RDA or equivalents) and integrate with upstream/downstream processes.

• Version control and controlled release (strongly preferred; make mandatory if you want)

• Use Git (or equivalent) with branching, code reviews, and release tagging.
• Produce deployment/run documentation and support hypercare.

• BI & visualization (Power BI / Tableau or equivalent)

• Build operational dashboards with clear metric definitions and data refresh governance.

• Nice-to-have / Differentiators (AI + advanced engineering)

• GenAI enablement: prompt design patterns, evaluation approach, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, and safe usage in regulated environments. 
• API integration, ETL orchestration, and DevOps/CI pipelines (where approved).
• Process mining / operational analytics experience.
