Job Overview

The Client Executive is a senior-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The SVP Client Executive also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Understand clients’ key business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value for clients and cross-selling Citi products
• Build and maintain client relationships, as a central point of contact for key issues impacting client satisfaction and take ownership for client issues
• Become an expert on the customer’s operating business to identify potential new business opportunities, monitor client satisfaction
• Perform regular service reviews, coordinate internal resources, develop actions plans to address issues/deliver solutions and hold face-to-face client meetings
• Coordinate and ensure client participation in external surveys, incorporate survey results and drive the service quality process at the client level
• Lead strong governance and controls
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
• Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
• Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
• Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
• Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Financial and/or operations experience preferred
• Proven analytical and organizational skills
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Consistently demonstrates ability to lead people

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

직무목표

• 국내 기관 고객 및 해외투자가 고객을 담당하는 CE유닛을 총괄하고 주요 고객에 대한 안정적이고 높은 수준의 수탁 서비스를 책임
• 고객과의 정기적인 관계 구축 및 서비스 향상을 통해 기존 고객 관계를 강화하고 비즈니스의 지속적인 성장을 지원
• CE 유닛의 업무 수행, 인력 운영 및 역량 개발을 관리하고, 주요 고객 이슈 및 에스컬레이션에 대한 senior point of contact역할 수행 
• 상품 부문, 오퍼레이션 부문, 테크 부문 등 유관 부서와의 긴밀한 협업을 통해 고객 요구 사항 및 서비스 이슈를 효과적으로 해결

주요 업무 및 책임

• CE유닛의 전반적인 업무를 총괄하고 팀원별 고객 커버리지 및 업무 배분을 관리
• 주요 기관 고객과의 장기적인 관계 구축 및 고위급(senior level) 관계 관리를 수행
• 주요 고객의 서비스 현황을 정기적으로 점검하고, 고객 요구사항 및 서비스 개선 과제에 대한 대응 방향 수립
• 고객의 주요 서비스 이슈 및 에스컬레이션에 대한 총괄 담당자(senior point of contact)로서 유관 부서와 협업하여 적시에 해결
• 상품 부문, 오퍼레이션 부문, 테크 부문 및 기타 관련 부서와 긴밀히 협력하여 안정적인 수탁 서비스 제공 및 고객 만족도 제고
• 고객 및 시장 동향을 파악하고 고객 니즈와 신규 비지니스 기회를 관련 상품/영업 담당자와 공유
• 신규 고객 온보딩 및 기존 고객의 주요 서비스 변경 사항에 대한 CE업무를 총괄하고 진행 상황 관리
• 고객별 수탁 서비스 수수료 및 주요 요건에 대해 상품/영업 등 관련 부서와 협의 및 관리
• 고객 관련 운영, 서비스 리스크를 사전에 파악하고, 문제 발생 시 적절한 에스컬레이션 및 시정조치가 이루어지도록 관리
• CE 업무 관련 내부 정책, 절차 및 통제 준수 여부를 관리하고 필요한 개선사항 추진
• CE 구성원의 업무 성과를 관리하고 정기적인 코칭 및 피드백을 통해 CE의 전문성과 고객 관리 역량 개발
• CE 내부 원활한 커뮤니케이션과 백업 체계를 구축하여 인력 변동 또는 부재 시에도 안정적인 고객 커버리지 유지
• 주요 국내 경영진 및 글로벌/클러스터 이해관계자에게 고객 관련 주요 이슈, 서비스 현황 및 필요 사항을 적시에 보고

자격 요건

• 금융기관 고객 관리 경험 및 주요 고객의 긴급 이슈 처리 경험
• 수탁/증권 서비스 업무 및 국내외 증권시장, 결제 및 보관업무에 대한 높은 이해도
• 기관 고객의 요구사항을 파악하고 내부 상품 부문, 오퍼레이션 부문, 테크 부문 등 다양한 이해관계자와 협업하여 해결할 수 있는 능력
• 팀 관리, 업무 배분, 성과관리 및 직원 코칭을 포함한 people management 및 리더십 역량
• 복잡한 고객 이슈에 대한 문제 해결 및 의사결정 능력
• 국내외 senior 이해관계자 및 고객과 효과적으로 소통할 수 있는 우수한 커뮤니케이션 및 프리젠테이션 역량
• 원활한 영어 의사 소통 및 글로벌 조직과의 협업능력
• 고객중심적 사고와 높은 책임감, 원활한 대인 관계, 리스크 및 내부 통제에 대한 이해
