Team Description 

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.  VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments. 

We are seeking a Director of Digital Practices to lead the development and evolution of the Digital Practice across the Carcam region, strengthening its contribution to business growth and increasing its impact with clients.

This role will be responsible for fostering strategic capabilities related to digital transformation, digital product management, customer experience, technology, and artificial intelligence, ensuring the practice is well positioned to address current and future client challenges.

The successful candidate will serve as a market leader across the areas within the practice scope, contributing to the development of new offerings, supporting commercial initiatives and leading executive client engagements.

This position requires a strong combination of leadership, strategic thinking, business development, and the ability to build and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Specific responsibilities includes:

Growth & Practice Development:

• Foster the growth and development of the Digital Practice across the region, strengthening its presence in commercial opportunities, strategic projects, and client transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to business growth by increasing the participation of digital capabilities in solutions sold and delivered to clients.
• Partner with commercial leaders and consulting teams to identify market opportunities and accelerate the adoption of the practice’s capabilities.
• Support the definition of the practice growth strategy and regional investment priorities.

Client Engagement & Thought Leadership:

• Act as a recognized subject matter expert in digital transformation and artificial intelligence for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead executive workshops, co-creation sessions, presentations, and speaking engagements on topics related to the practice’s scope.
• Facilitate strategic discussions with clients, helping identify opportunities to create business value through technology, innovation, and AI.
• Represent the practice at industry events, forums, and relevant market initiatives across the market.

Offer Development & Innovation:

• Expand and strengthen the practice’s portfolio of solutions and services, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
• Identify, adapt, and scale best practices, methodologies, frameworks, and successful offerings from other Latin American markets.
• Promote continuous innovation in the design and evolution of the practice’s value proposition.
• Support the development of new assets, accelerators, and solutions that enhance market differentiation.

Practice Leadership & Operating Model:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Digital, Digital Product Management, Customer Experience, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Define and continuously evolve the practice’s operating model, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with local market needs.
• Develop talent and strengthen both technical and consulting capabilities across the team.
• Establish ways of working that promote collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and delivery excellence.

Artificial Intelligence Enablement:

• Lead the adoption and expansion of Artificial Intelligence capabilities across the market.
• Support the integration of AI into offerings, solutions, and client engagements.
• Promote knowledge sharing and the dissemination of best practices related to AI applications across different industries and use cases.
• Ensure the practice remains current on emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in the AI landscape.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Master’s Degree in related fields a plus.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in managing AI products or projects.
• Significant leadership experience in digital transformation, technology, innovation or product management.
• Proven track record in developing and growing practices, service lines, offerings, or business units.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within complex and matrixed organizations.
• Strong ability to build executive-level client relationships and lead strategic business discussions.
• Proven experience facilitating executive workshops, speaking engagements, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its application to business transformation.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities and a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fully Bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
