A Day In The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Data, you will act as a strategic business partner, playing a pivotal role in accelerating L’Oréal's ongoing business transformation across the Nordics Hub (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland). You won't just build technical solutions; you will translate complex data into compelling business narratives, guiding commercial decisions and shape our strategy.
Strategic Insight & Value Creation: Translate ambiguous business challenges into high-impact data solutions and front-end dashboards (PowerBI) that directly drive commercial growth and operational efficiency.
Business Transformation & Technical Execution: Leverage SQL and Python to build robust pipelines and automations, bridging the gap between technical back-end capabilities and commercial business needs.
Stakeholder Influence & Change Management: Partner closely with cross-functional leaders (Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance) to manage data initiatives, champion data-driven decision-making, and drive change across the organization.
We Are Looking For
- An educational background in a technical or analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering.
- Fluency in English.
- Commercial Acumen & Influence: Proven ability to understand business drivers, translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and influence senior decision-makers to adopt data-led strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in SQL and front-end dashboard development, combined with structured problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial initiative.
- 5 Core Skills: Data Analytics, Data Governance, Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Change Management.
