Job Title: Global L&H Claims Project Manager

The Opportunity

The Global L&H Claims Solutions team is seeking a highly motivated project manager to support industry transformation through delivery of L&H claims technology solutions. You will work within a team of claims and technology experts to build, maintain, and implement claims technology solutions globally. As Project Manager, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day running of client implementations and related intra and inter-product build dependencies across the Claims Solutions (PromiseXP) suite and associated project portfolio.

Responsibilities Include:

• Have ownership of and provide oversight for the project portfolio
• Select the most appropriate project management methodology, tools and techniques per project (waterfall, agile, mixed)
• Use and maintain project collaboration and communication platform(s)
• Manage onboarding clients and Swiss Re team members in the selected collaboration and communication platform(s)
• Evaluate confidentiality need and ensure confidentiality protection is in place
• Define and document project scope, objectives, milestone level project plans, phasing and desired outcomes
• Lead and facilitate client and internal meetings, drive stakeholder alignment and effective decision-making while navigating competing priorities, challenging assumptions and ensuring clear ownership and follow-through.
• Foster decision making and document process and outcomes, ensuring project governance is in place
• Obtain, record, and document any sign offs in your projects
• Evaluate and document potential project risks and issues, and mitigation actions in collaboration with project team
• Track project progress and milestones using appropriate tools
• Prepare project progress reports for relevant leadership and stakeholders
• Perform regular assessment of project execution together with project team to identify areas for improvement Arrange and maintain project communication channels (intranet etc)
• Create and maintain guidance checklists
• Serve as customer's main point of contact during project delivery and effectively manage client stakeholders to deliver efficiently and on time.

About You:

Need to have:

• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and prioritize effectively
• Ability to lead projects with cross functional teams
• Excellent communication, engagement and collaboration skills
• Strong experience in establishing, managing and delivering technology projects  
• Formal project management qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM/PSM)
• Relevant experience contributing to and leading teams using Agile, Scrum, or Design Thinking frameworks
• Experience in waterfall and agile methodologies as well as other project management methodologies and tools
• Bachelor's degree with a background in business or other relevant discipline
• Ability to effectively influence and manage key stakeholders based on their unique motivations, cultural norms and communication style

Nice to have:

• Relevant experience leading client deliveries of SaaS products
• Understand Technology and systems at a high level, particularly to assess the value and level of effort in creating or supporting a technology solution a plus.
• Understanding of the IT and Operational Frameworks in which insurance or other large, legacy organizations operate, including the constraints faced when making changes to processes or systems
• Master's degree with a background in business or other relevant discipline
• Experience in CX/UX design, including journey or process mapping in Figma, Visio, or similar tools
