This position is hybrid model in our Sao Paulo unit.
Position Summary
The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact and the customer's advocate within Thales. This role is fundamental to building trusted relationships, ensuring the customer's success in their technological journey, and driving revenue growth through connectivity and IoT solutions.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary strategic link between Thales (MCS) and the customer (mobile network operators and corporate IoT clients).
- Business Development (IoT): Prospect and develop market opportunities with a focus on IoT applications, such as mobile payments, asset monitoring, utilities, and smart cities.
- Strategic Planning: Manage the account lifecycle, including annual planning, market analysis, risk identification, and opportunities for expansion (up-selling and new business).
- Internal Interface: Coordinate internally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams to ensure consistent solution delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Lead the commercial negotiation process, coordinating the preparation of proposals that meet the customer's technical and compliance requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure that delivered solutions (such as eSIM, connectivity management, or identity/security services) are aligned with the customer's business goals and Thales’ quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering (Telecommunications, Electrical, or Software), Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Experience in B2B account management or business development, specifically within the Telecommunications, IoT, or High-Tech/Software industries.
- Technical: Understanding of mobile connectivity (eSIM/SIM), connectivity management, and IT infrastructure.
- Commercial: Experience managing revenue forecasts, contract negotiations, and the full sales cycle.
- Operational: Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Support, Product).
