Protecting our investors from risk requires clear goals, big ideas and resolute action. As part of the Analyst track, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping Vanguard safe day in and day out Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program is an immersive, hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading investment firms. Extensive training, real-world experience, hands-on opportunities and mentorship from professionals will all aid in broadening your technical expertise. You’ll receive exposure to the software life cycle and positively impact our clients through exciting assignments. Make it count!
In this internship you will:
Drive security strategies for Vanguard to perform at its best and protect investors
Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success
Gain hands-on experience in security strategy, risk mitigation, and digital ethics while practicing Agile & LEAN methodologies
Share your insights and drive outcomes individually and in collaborative, supportive environments
Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peers
Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship
What it takes
In pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
Strong interest in security/threat analysis, fraud mitigation, and reporting
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment
